MRI STEEL FRAMING ADDS SLOTTED TRACK PUNCHING SYSTEM TO GARY, IN MANUFACTURING SITE

MRI Steel Framing LLC adds a Tekfab Slotted Track Punching System to its Gary, IN manufacturing site. This new punching system is capable of processing slit widths up to 15” in material up to 14 gauge, all at speeds up to 200 feet per minute.

“This new punching system will give us the additional production capacity needed to meet our customers’ demands for more slotted track products.” said Mark Krzyszton, Vice president of Operations.

In addition to its line of slotted track and traditional full gauge products, MRI manufacturers two lines of 20ga equivalent products; the 27mil MRI Smart® 20 ga EQ stud and the 19/21mil MRI PrimeWall® 20 ga EQ stud.
