MRI Steel Framing produces two lines of “Equivalent” products in 27mil and 19/21mil versions. On projects where “EQ” products are accepted, contractors now have a choice and can choose our 27mil MRISmart® 20ga EQ Stud or our 19/21mil PrimeWall® 20ga EQ Stud. Both “EQ” products are excellent choices that we believe outperform our competitor’s “EQ” studs in many interior applications.

Flat Stock is available 1 ½” wide thru 12” wide. Available in 25, 22, 20, 18, 16, 14 and 12 gauge (Sheet steel is available upon request)

Z-furring is available in 25, 22, 20, 18 and 16 gauge in 1”, 1-1/2”, 2”, 2-1/2” and 3” depths

Angle is available with a 90 degree bend with 3/4” to 3” legs. Available in 25, 22, 20, 18, 16, 14 and 12 gauge Custom angles and widths available upon request.

U-Channel is available in 16 gauge steel with 1/2” legs. Standard widths are 3/4” and 1-1/2”

Furring Channel is available in 7/8” and 1-1/2” heights. Available in 25, 22, 20, 18 and 16 gauge
